Our Technology Can Make
Very Big Diamonds
Our Technology
At Allotrope Cee we have developed a technology which aims to enable the commercial production of diamond specimens, both mono and poly crystalline much larger than currently possible. By methods involving, crystal capture, dynamic substrates and active laser engagement, we have evolved the technology to build CVD systems capable of delivering the promise of larger bulk diamond specimens, with a consequent impact on both gem production, and more importantly the production of pure crystals of carbon necessary for next generation integrated circuits and opto-electronic and medical devices.
Carbonization
The biggest problem in diamond production for technological use is that of carbonization, which results in layers of unwanted carbon species building up on the growth surface. Carbonization results in the production of relatively small samples of diamond material and stands in the way of the adaptation of diamond as a common material in electronic and device technology. Allotrope Cee has effectively solved this problem thus paving the way for much larger specimens to be produced with ease.
Future Path
Allotrope Cee is at the moment engaged in the patenting process, and in the development of prototype systems. At the conclusion of this work we would hope to have established a body of intellectual property which will enable us to construct and deliver CVD systems for the manufacture of larger diamond specimens. We will also be in a position to license our technology to interested parties.
